He cited an IATA memorandum issued on April 10, which stated IATA was not claiming that its termination of YTB's accreditation "results in any impairment with respect to its ARC accreditation."Therefore, YTB can use its ARC number but not with any reference to IATA, and the agency is no longer eligible for any IATA products or services, said the commissioner.Also, YTB was directed to immediately cease using the IATA codes, including in connection with any ID or other credentials, and to immediately recall all IDs or credentials that include the IATA code. Hopefully this issue gets some more clarification from the owners this week. I have had many calls from post online regarding the YTB IATAN, YTB vs Royal Caribbean articles.
I have heard that many upline directors and leaders and telling their teams that the IATAN is not important and that they still have Clia and Arc for booking. That is sad to see that they are not telling the truth, Credibility and credentials do matter. Fact is YTB as a corporation knows how important they are and that is why they are seeking to get into compliance to get them back. That was one of the major reasons Why I switched from YTB...I called it the spin. You don't straight answers or any proactive communication about important information. I have asked..why are the owners selling stocks every single month and reps are being pushed to buy? Why has there been no communication about why the Corporate Attorney Ted Lindauer no longer active with YTB?
I had one person call me wondering about the difference between YTB and Traverus. They said they had spoken to a YTB rep first and when they asked about the IATAN issue was told the spin it's not important, then added they feel its wrong for Traverus members to try to recruit people from YTB. The person told me they said to them...well I see that your company offers specials to switch people over to YTB from other companies…. isn't that the same the thing....they told me it was silent…I personally know people who have lost their down lines due to upline leaders taking cash and stock deals to bring over their teams. That the nature of MLM is recruiting the most experienced people so the character card should not be played.
Fact of the matter is when YTB offered promotion to get other agents from other companies at their convention that was the worse thing they could have done. Traverus had it's biggest growth when YTB reps tried to recruit existing agents for the company sponsored special offer which is still good through December 2nd. Many of them got a chance to see the Traverus Compensation plan that gives you $5 residual to start per person in your organization and goes up to $20 a month per person. The residuals blow them away. You can't retire off of one time bonuses. My team alone has had 14 people retire from corporate America working traverus in less than 1 year. Just 11 people on your team is $100 a month residually. How many do you have on your team and what type of residual are you making?
If you have not investigated the Traverus Compensation Plan...you need to. A fully licensed and bonded 26 year old Already International Hosting Travel Agency of Brick and Mortar Agents...that pays 70% on travel pays and the highest paying networking compensation plan. Most of the Top Directors that got into YTB in the beginnig are trying to maintain thier downlines. Most people who have not been able to see the duplication in thier downlines are realizing it is easier to sign someone up into Traverus as a CTA for 169.00 vs $500.00 in YTB.
Traverus is a 26 year old international Travel agency. Which does not give out Cards to its members. They are true travel agents and have more benefits than RTA or CRTA's. People are finding out about the Traverus option Quickly.. The ground floor window is closing fast and whole teams are making the switch. By the Time Chrismas comes most people will either have made the switch or try to rebuild.

The word is spreading pretty fast. I have had several calls today of people wanting to know more about the Traverus True CTA opportunity. Many are surprised to say the least about how lucrative traverus is.
One Gentlemen who joined today stated he lost 11,000 in booking because of Royal Caribbean cancelling with YTB. The client booked directly with Royal. The agent can still get the commission back from Royal Caribbean since they are with Traverus now.
He will be happy because he will not get even more commission than he would have if he booked it through YTB.

I with sensitivity I had to inform some of my family member who are in YTB about the loss of the IATA number. The company still has not sent any information to its organization or stock holders. Some have told me that if you send in a Ticket to the company you will get a quick canned response that they are investicating. However they already knew it when they diverted everyones attention to sell cruises through carnival cruise line on Nov 8th. They wanted to do something big as they lost the Royal Caribbean and Perillo Tours
I hate to be the bearer of bad news especially to family but how would I feel if someone did not tell me.

Today I am even more convinced that I made the right move when I switched from YTB to Traverus. YTB was Terminated from Royal Caribbean as a Card Mill. Now it is reported they have Lost thier IATAN accredidation. This means that the YTB business model is losing to much credibility with the Travel industry and suppliers. I have tried my best to Educate people on the difference between an RTA or CRTA Vs a TRUE Certified Travel Agent. I have nothing against any agents as I still have friends over there whom I am sure will be joining Traverus now. Why? Because Traverus is Different...it is a 26 year old Internationally Brick and mortar hosting Agency. Traverus is not an mlm company created to do travel. It is a traditional Agency that opened its doors to effectively Train home based travel agents.Those who like the travel industry and are looking for somthing stable that has the potential of duplication needs to take a look at Financial Crisis
Here is the first news about YTB IATAN credentials being cancelled. IATAN also dropped three other companys. Joystar did not loose thier IATAN numbers to date just thier Royal Caribbean Cruise Liscense with YTB and GTI. YTB IATAN
I am looking forward to helping others who will be making the change from YTB to Traverus. They will find the program allot easier and more duplicatible because you can be a CTA for only $119.00! That is Why we have over 10k reps our first year...it took YTB 3yrs just to get 3k. Its time to Catch the next true Icon Wave of the Travel industry..Traverus Travel
